Bill Meadows manages the Alabama Advantage program, a state economic development initiative administered by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). Current projects of the Alabama Advantage program are the 2005-2006 Alabama Advantage for Relocation magazine, the Alabama Advantage Internet website, implementing a new computer reporting system for furnishing prospects to Alabama Advantage community contact persons, the Alabama exhibition of "Living In Alabama Communities " and the Alabama Lifestyles EXPO. Bill's work experiences include construction, government, and the military. He is a graduate from the University of Alabama in engineering, the US Army Command and General Staff College, and a graduate of the Industrial College of Armed Forces. Bill holds certifications from the Alabama Home Builders Commission, Certified Safety Professionals of America, and the Southern Building Code Congress Institute. Bill is married to Beth Meadows who is a consultant for high school students who are applying for college scholarships. They have two children: Bill Jr., President of Meadows Homes, Inc. and Chris, a pilot for United Parcel Service Aviation Division. Bill
