Hi my name is Curtis the koala! I have 3 sisters!
First of all, there is BrookLynn the chihuahua, Addy the penguin, Lassie the collie, and theres me Curtis the koala. BrookLynn was the first pet adopted by Hannah.
Addy was second. Lassie was third. Then theres me. I have the jungle room theme. Addy has the arctic room theme. Lassie has the cheerleader room theme. BrookLynn is getting a room makeover! We were bought at Dixie Flowers and Gifts in Haleyville. Hannah is going to buy a turtle. I am so excited.

My name is Kaci. I am a cow. I was the first webkinz adopted by Kayleigh. then she adopted Maci, she is a pink poodle. Then Kayleigh adopted Bunny who of course is a white bunny and then a white terrier named Kaykay who is a Lilkinz. We have a happy home and Kayleigh takes good care of us. She feeds us, bathes us and lets us play together. Lilly, my Nana knows Deb that adopted you. I am glad you have a good home. I adopted my Webkinz from my Nana's flower shop, Dixie Flower and Gifts. I have to go Maci, Bunny and Kaykay are ready to play. I'll talk to you again soon.

My name is Ms Pinky, and I am a pink poodle. I was adopted by Dionna. She is 7 years old. Her brother Micah, 9yrs old, adopted my friend Clyde. Clyde is a clydesdale horse. Jacob, Dionna's other brother, which is 5 yrs old adopted another friend of mine named George. George is a monkey. Clyde, George, and I have lots of fun together. We would like for you to be our friend too. We could all go on picnics and do lots of fun things together. We were all adopted from Dixie Flowers and Gifts. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Lilly
!My name is Mrs. Snuggles, I am a bunny. I have a friend, his name is Leo, he's a lion.
We both came from DIXIE FLOWERS & GIFTS. We were adopted on the same day by
a very special girl named Jesi. She is 6 years old and going to be a 1st grader at Haleyville
Elementary School.
She takes really good care of us never letting us go hungry!
We get regular check ups at the Clinic and are always very happy.
We have a play ground too! Maybe you can come play with us sometime.
We'll have lots of fun! Well until next time TTY. Oh and Leo says good bye.

Summer Reading Program Finalé |
July 19, 2007 — This has been one of the most successful Summer Reading Programs offered at the Haleyville Public Library. Program attendance at each event was well over 100 children. This summer's theme has centered around forensics, investigations and featured archeological digs and lots of fun learning! The summer reading program's finalé ended with mummies, chubby bunnies and pizza! Children reaching their reading goals for the summer received a "Get a Clue Tee Shirt" and a greater appreciation for reading. |

It's been the topic of many conversations this summer with 9 year old Micah of Haleyville Elementary School. He looks forward to growing up and becoming a fireman. He visited the Haleyville Fire Department along with other young people and received a cap, fireman shirt and this most treasured autographed picture of the Haleyville Fire Department! Way to go Haleyville Firefighters! |
