This is to advise that the Alabama Department of Transportation will hold a Design Public Hearing on October 13, 2005, at the Haleyville Elementary School Cafetorium located at 2000 20th Street, Haleyville, Alabama. This meeting is being held for Project No. NHF-0013(519), consisting of relocating SR-13 from SR-195 North to CR-79 at Dime
This will be an open-house type hearing to be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., during which time there will be no formal presentation. Interested persons may arrive anytime within the two hour period. Department of Transportation personnel will be available to discuss the project. Maps and exhibits will be available for inspection.
The purpose of this hearing is to gather public input for consideration in determining the final design of the project.
An Environmental Assessment has been updated for this project and copies will be available for review at the hearing.
The Department of Transportation will accept written statements and other exhibits in place of, or in addition to statements made at the public hearing. Such statements and/or exhibits should be submitted to: Mr. James D. Brown, Division Engineer, Alabama Department of Transportation, P.O. Box 495, Tuscumbia, Alabama 35674. These written statements will be accepted prior to, at or within ten (10) days after the hearing.
